Rudolph Carsley Quesenberry

Rudolph Carsley Quesenberry left his home on Horse Ridge to be with the Lord on September 15, 2011. Born October 21, 1937, Rudolph was the son of the late Curtis D. and Ettie V. Quesenberry. In addition, he was preceded in death by his brothers Alvis, Avis, Glen, Eugene, and Ronald Quesenberry, and a sister Phyllis Keith. He retired from Roanoke Electric Steel after 30 plus years of service. After retiring, he was able to enjoy spending time with his family, flea marketing and gardening. Rudolph never met a stranger. He touched the lives of many with his great sense of humor. Rudolph was much loved and will be sadly missed by many.

Survivors include his Wife of 45 years Pearl R. Quesenberry, Sons & Daughter-in-Law William & Virginia Quesenberry, Adam Quesenberry, Daughters & Sons-in-Law Virginia & Scott Allen, Elizabeth & Timothy Cox, Granddaughter Krista Cox, Grandsons Hunter Allen, Travis Cox, Elijah Quesenberry, Jonathan Allen, Garrett Allen Brother & Sister-in-Law Roy & Mitzi Quesenberry, Sisters & Brothers-in-Law Liddie & Ralph Weeks, Sadie & Edward Underwood, Mattie & Clinton Compton, Sisters-in-Law Mozell Quesenberry, Joyce Quesenberry, Lucy Quesenberry.

Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 18, 2011 at Duncan Chapel Church of the Brethren with Pastor Stanley Hawkins and Rev. Kenneth Poston officiating. Family will receive friends from 12 noon – to 3:00 p.m. before the service. Interment to follow in Sumpter Cemetery.
