Mary Frost Phipps

Mary Frost Phipps, 66 of Callaway, passed away Thursday Feb. 26, 2009. Preceded in death by her parents Barnett P. Frost and Ruth E. Frost; Sister Mrs. Esther M. Padgett.

Survivors include: Husband Edgar Allen Phipps of Callaway, VA; Children: Larry W. & Sharon T. Phipps of Bassett, VA, Eugene A. Phipps & Joyce Turman of Boones Mill, VA, Paul D. & Connie B. Phipps of Callaway, VA, and Elizabeth & Stephen Shepp of Gallup, New Mexico; 2 Grandchildren; 7 Step Grandchildren; 18 Step great grandchildren; Nephew Donald Podgett of Galax, VA; Sisters-In-Law: Anna B. Phipps of Alabama, and Janet Phipps of Texas; and Numerous cousins.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 5, 2009 at Victory Way Baptist Church, Hillsville with Pastor Neal Edison officiating. Interment to follow in Oakland Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 1-2 PM on March 5, 2009 at the church prior to the Funeral.
