He is survived by Wife: Dixie Neighbours of Check, VA; Son: Tom & Vickie Neighbours of Winston Salem, NC; Foster Son: Carroll & Virginia Painter of Spartanburg, SC; Step-sons:Roy & Ina Whitlock of Willis, VA, Dennis & Karen Whitlock of Floyd, VA; Step daughters: Gladys Whitlock of Copper Hill, VA, Louise & Kenny Newman of Vinton, VA; Sisters: Frances Daniels of Jacksonville, FL, Jenneane & Sid Trent of Deming, NM; Brother: Marion & Joyce Neighbours of Windsor, VA; Sister-In-Law: Betty Neighbours ofGreensboro, NC; Several Grandchildren, step grandchildren, and great grandchildren; Special Friends: Judy Akers, Worth & Mary Lucas, James & Debbie Horton; Devoted & faithful Companions: Martin, Sunny, Goldie & Ozzy.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday Oct. 5, 2008 at Maberry Funeral Home with Virginia Painter officiating. Interment to follow in the Lee Cemetery. Military Rites by Floyd V.F. W. Post #7854 & American Legion Post #127. Family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral Home.
