Roy Lee Shelton

Roy Lee Shelton, 77 of Floyd, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents, U.G. & Ruby Shelton; brothers, Grover Shelton, Ray Shelton, Harold Shelton; sister, Annie Dickerson.

He is survived by his wife, Jane Shelton; sons, Ronnie Dean Shelton, Gilbert Lee Shelton, James Roy Shelton; daughter, Peggy Jean Shelton & David Weddle; grandchildren, Kayla Desiray Shelton, Bradley Hatcher, Jessica B. Wilkin; great-granddaughter, Braylee Mattingley; brothers & sisters-in-law, Dallas & Nelva Shelton, Herbert Junior & Maggie Shelton; sister, Faye Bolt; sister-in-law, Annetta & Kenneth Moles; several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2012 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ronnie Sutphin officiating. Interment to follow in the Alderman Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, June 15, 2012 at the funeral home. Flowers are appreciated or donations can be made to the Floyd County Rescue Squad, P.O.
