Minerva Hollandsworth Dickerson Phillips, 75 of Lynchburg, formerly of Floyd, VA passed away July 4, 2009.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Collie & Myrtle Hollandsworth; Two brothers, John C. and Loring Hollandsworth; One sister, Lorane Criner.

Survived by; One son & daughter-in-law, Gary & Gillian Dickerson; Grandson, Cameron Dickerson; Granddaughter, Adrienne Dickerson, All of Christiansburg; Three Brothers & sisters-in-law, Cline & Ethleen Hollandsworth of Roanoke; Jabe & Wanda Hollandsworth of Christiansburg; Garrett & Joyce Hollandsworth of Riner; Two sisters-in-laws, Dorothy Hollandsworth of Christiansburg and Iva Dell Hollandsworth of Floyd; and Several Nieces & Nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.

The family would like to thank Todd Scully and the staff at the D.A.V store in Lynchburg, VA for their many acts of kindness shown to Minerva.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday July 7, 2009 at Maberry Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Mitchell Floyd officiating. Interment to follow in Capt. George Quesenberry Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
