Ocie Lea Weddle

Ocie Lea Boyd Weddle, 91, of Floyd, passed away on November 13, 2008. She was preceded in death by Parents: General W. & Eula Radford Boyd; Loving Husband: Delmer Edger Weddle; Sisters & brother: Frances Boyd, Lelia Hatcher, Wilson Boyd, Pauline Brockwell, Goldie Nolen, Tempsy Moran, and Sylvia Hatcher.

She was survived by Daughters & Sons-In-Law: Nita & Grover Akers, Darnell & Marshall James, and Judy Akers; Sisters: Lucy Harris and Irene Spangler; 9 Grandchildren; 18 Great grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday Nov. 15, 2008 at Maberry Funeral Home, with Rev. Richard Thomas officiating. Interment to follow at Topeco Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 P.M. Friday Nov. 14, 2008 at the Funeral Home. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Skyline Manor Nursing Home for the care given to their mother over the past 14 years. A special thanks to Aunt Irene and Aunt Lucy for all the tender loving care shown to Mom.
