
Margaret Edna Harman
Margaret Edna Harman, 84 of Willis, VA passed away Friday July 30, 2010.
Mrs. Harman served the people of Floyd for 40 years as the Clerk of Circuit Court and Deputy Clerk of the Circuit Court. Margaret was an active member in the Willis United Methodist Church. She has been a lifelong supporter of the Floyd County Athletic Program going back to the days when her own sons played sports up until this last school year. She could be seen in the stands cheering on the Buff’s. Margaret worked side by side with her husband C.W. to build what are now C.W. Harman & Son.
Preceded in death by her husband C.W. Harman, twin Brother Marvin Harman, Sister Margorie Vaughn, and great grandson Chance Harman.
Survived by Sons & Daughters-In-Law, Michael & Linda Harman, Allen & Anne Harman, and Donnie & Susan Harman; Grandchildren, Matt Harman, Brian Harman & wife Desirae, Kyndall Harman, and Danielle Harman Miller & husband Butch; Great-grandchildren Destiny Harman and Chaycen Harman.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday Aug. 2, 2010 at Maberry Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Mullan, Rev. Josh Kilbourne, & Rev. Mike Varner officiating. Interment to follow in Topeco Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Sunday Aug. 1, 2010 at Maberry Funeral Home.
