Virginia Compton Lane, 83 of Floyd, passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2012. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carrol T. Lane.
She is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law, Malinda Hutcherson, Sue & Bill Stilwell, Rebecca & James Cobb; grandchildren, Tammy Huff & husband Rocky, Kristy Karas & husband Jason, Stacy Friesland & husband Bric, Adam Cobb, Erin Cobb; great-grandchildren, Allen Huff, Aaric Huff, Adyson Huff,Brandon Karas, Chloe Karas, Ava Friesland.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Gregory officiating. Interment to follow at Jacksonville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at the funeral home.
