Posey Edmund Weddle

Posey Edmund Weddle, 89, of Floyd, passed away on December 3rd, 2008. He was predeceased by his wife, Claudine Harman Weddle. He served in the Army during World War II from January 27, 1942 to December 9, 1945.

He is survived by Sons and Daughter-in-law: Gene and Patsy Weddle of Floyd and David Weddle of Floyd; Grandchildren: Monica Marchon and husband Timmy, Donnie Sutphin and wife Christy, and Wendy Riley and husband David; and 4 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be on Friday, December 5th, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Topeco Church of the Brethren with Rev. Mike Varner officiating. Interment will follow at the Topeco Cemetery with full Military Rites by Floyd VFW Post # 7854 & American Legion Post # 127. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 4th, 2008 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel.
