Christine Helm

Christine Helm, 74 of Floyd, went to be with the Lord Friday Aug. 20, 2010 at Salem Rehabilitation in Salem, VA. She was born May 4, 1936 in Floyd, VA to the late Grady & Esbell Helm. She was Co-owner and worked at Barewood Furniture for the last 24 years. She retired in 2001, but continued to work until 2009. She was a great & loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, & cousin to all.

Numerous first cousins, nephews and nieces.

Christine & Jerry had 38 special years working together. She was a sister, mother, co-worker, friend as well as someone special to talk with.

Funeral Services were held 2:00 a.m. Monday Aug. 23, 2010 at Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clinton Crump officiating. Interment to follow in Little River Cemetery. Family received friends one hour prior to the service.
