Floyd Francis Bain
Floyd Francis Bain Sr., 85 of Check, passed away Monday, December 12, 2011. He is preceded in death by his wife, Merlie Phillips Bain, and two sons Calvin and David Bain. Floyd proudly served his country during WWII in the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by sons, Floyd Jr. and Josie Bain, Joe Bain, Dale Bain and fiancée Jerri Hilt; two daughters, Deborah and Jimmy Bowyer, and Cathy and Charlie Hall. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, December 15, 2011 at Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Thomas Pegram officiating. Interment to follow at Indian Creek Cemetery with Military Rites by Floyd V.F.W. Post # 7854 and America Legion Post #127. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2011at Maberry Funeral Home.
