Sue Haga Townsend

Sue Haga Townsend, 66 of Floyd, passed away on July 31, 2013 after a brief illness.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Kenneth W. Townsend of Floyd; three children, Brian C. Bell of Floyd, Betsy S. Bell of Floyd, and Barry D. Bell and his wife M. Kathryn Shields of Greensboro, NC; and five grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Lung Association, 1301 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, Suite 800, Washington, DC 20004 or to the Juvenile Diabetes Fund, 3959 Electric Road, Roanoke, VA 24018.
